Age Requirements
The Laughing Tap is an 18+ venue. Please note, some shows may have a strict 21+ restriction; Check the event listing for details. 16 and 17 years old admitted with parent or legal guardian. No one under 16 will be admitted even if accompanied by parent or guardian.
Refunds
All sales are final. The Laughing Tap does not offer refunds although we are happy to exchange your tickets to a different event if seating is available. The Laughing Tap does not use Third Party ticketing companies! Only purchase via laughingtap.com or etix.com. Do not buy ‘resell tickets’ on Social Media – this is a scam!
Do I have to print my tickets?
Nope – Save a tree! We will scan the barcode on your phone or you can simply give your name at the ticket window. Please note, you may be asked for ID. Do you have a drink minimum?
No! Our events are about the entertainment you are seeing, therefore a fully stocked bar with craft beer on tap, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks options are available to those that want to drink responsibly. The Laughing Tap is one of the only comedy clubs in the country with no item minimum!
Bar
We offer a full bar featuring Wisconsin beers on tap, cocktails, wine, soda and more! The bar is open before, during and after shows! You must be 21+ to drink at The Laughing Tap. Please bring your ID. No carry-ins are allowed! It is a violation of Wisconsin State Law to bring in outside beverages. There is no drink minimum at The Laughing Tap!
Seating
Doors open 1 hour prior to show time unless otherwise stated in the event description (usually 30 minutes prior for Late Night shows). Patrons are seated on a first come basis. Please arrive with your party early to ensure you can sit together. Based on reservations and your arrival time, your party may be sat with another group. Your tickets may be re-sold if you arrive after the show has started.
Accessibility
We are wheelchair accessible and happy to accommodate persons with disabilities. Please note when purchasing tickets if you have a wheelchair or walker so we may assist you.
Parking
Ample street parking is FREE after 6pm. If you plan on drinking before, during, or after the show please use a Lyft or Uber to ensure you can come back and laugh with us again in the future!
Heckling and Disturbing the Performance
Heckling of any kind is NOT ALLOWED and violators along with their entire party will be asked to leave. Heckling is interrupting, talking to, or otherwise disturbing the comic and/or audience during the show. Trust us, you are NOT “making the show better” or “helping the comics out” in any way. If a comic directly engages you in conversation, you may respond, but don’t take this as an open invitation to talk.
Photo and Video
Filming and Recording of events is strictly prohibited and violators will be removed from the show. If you need to use your phone or other device please step out of the show so you do not disturb the audience around you or the comics on stage.
Bag policy
All bags are subject to search. Do not bring backpacks or large bags.
